Broadwater National Park is made up of over 8km of beach, dunes and sand ridges backed by 4226ha of coastal heath and wetlands. In spring the park has an impressive display of wildflowers.

The parks diverse vegetation can be viewed from the picnic area and lookout. Broadwater National Park also offers excellent opportunities to study wildlife with a diverse range of birds and wallabies.

The Salty Lagoon walk passes through undisturbed salt marsh, swamp forest and 60,000 year old dunes. 

Beach access is available for 4WD vehicles.

3km north of Evans Head via the Broadwater-Evans Head Road.
