Monthly Events

Everyone is welcome, so come along and be a part of the community spirit at  the Urbenville Village Festival & Bull ride, this fundraising event will have auctions, raffles and lots of entertainment. All proceeds will go to local emergency services, Urbenville Rural Fire Service, Urbenville S.E.S, and the Westpas Lifesaver Helicopter Service.

An amazing display of dahlias are put together every year by the passionate gardeners of St Marks Anglican Church.

Come along and enjoy the vast range of Dahlias,  Carnations, Gerberas, Geraniums, Roses, Orchids and Cactus displayed from a single cut flower to a large decorative arrangement.

Come along from 8:30am - 1:00pm with Morning tea at 9:00am and lunch from 11:30am.
There will be stalls containing Plants, Produce and cooking.

Entry by Gold Coin.

Pancake Day Celebrations at the Casino Uniting Church Hall

100 Canterbury Street, Casino

commencing 10am until 1.00pm

Savoury, Sweet and Gluten free pancakes will be available with a great selection of fillings for $3.00 each

Tea and Coffee - no charge

All proceeds raised on the day will go to support the Uniting Care Casino Transport Team

Enjoy a day out at the Annual "Rappville Cup" held on 25 February 2012.

Gussie up in your best and enter the Fashions in the Field competition to be in the chance to win from a pool of $1,500 in prizes.

The meeting of 8 races will be complemented by full TAB facilities on course, plus a host of bar and food outlets.

Entry is $15 for adults, with under 18 years free, but must be accompanied by a responsible parent or guardian. Kids will love the Byron Bay Kid's Club, bring the whole family for a great day out.

First race will be at 12.30pm with the last race run at 4.15pm.

'Illuminating Words'  is the latest solo exhibition by calligraphy artist Vanessa Crisp, exploring the different stages of life, love, living and learning. A calligraphic and visual feast for the eyes and the heart incorporating the inspiration of a multitude of writers, philosophers and poets throughout the ages. 

The Platypus Gallery is located in the Casino Visitor Information Centre, 86 Centre Street Casino.  The Gallery is open 9am - 4pm 7 days a week. Entry is free of charge
